Due to the forthcoming slated examination for Real Estate Brokers on March 27, 2011, and the considerations and experiences of the hardships in attending seminar and review in Manila, the members of the NCRB have realized the need to conduct a seminar and review in Naga City. The seminar is primarily aimed at giving convenience to fellow Bicolanos who are aspiring to become licensed real estate brokers.
It will also be an opportunity for those sales agents, practitioners and Licensed Real Estate Brokers whose licenses have either expired or who failed to register and anew, and is required and in need, under the law (Republic Act No. 9646, the Real Estate Service Act), to obtain CPE Credits, to attend and obtain in compliance of the required CPE credits for the transfer of their licenses from the DTI to PRC.

It is noteworthy that in the next coming years, upon full implementation of R.A. 9646 or the REAL ESTATE SERVICE ACT OF 2009, real estate service practice shall become a degree course in college as BACHELOR OF REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT, The succeeding licensure examinations shall require graduates of the said course only. The law further provides among others the strict adherence to the rudiments of law with criminal penalty and sanctions for unauthorized and violators of real estate service practice, who sell realties, without first obtaining license from the Professional Regulatory Commission.
