The Children’s Prayer

Charming Lad Praying

Today I have seen a cute charming innocent child praying outside the Naga City Metropolitan Cathedral. He was alone outside, his parents were inside the church. I can’t resist taking pictures of him. He’s such a great model to children. When he noticed me, he hid at the pillar and give his best smile. So cute, charming and religious lad indeed. :-)  I felt so happy seeing him. I’m so proud of his parents. :-)

Have you seen Santino with Bro? :-)

If no… ito sila o… :-)

Bro and Santino :-)

I’m not an avid viewer of the famous teleserye here in the Philippines May Bukas Pa, but I am sad that the teleserye would now end (actually tomorrow pa naman). It undoubtedly influenced the Filipino audience with its moral lessons. This is a one of a kind teleserye, a well thought of project. Advocating the importance of the higher being in our every day living for all ages. It give us hope amidst life difficulties. It unveils that even to the sinful of sinfuls there is still a goodness in their heart, there is always a chance for them to change for the greater good. Sabi nga ni Santino, “Maniwala ka lang.” “Di ka pababayaan ni Bro.” :-)

Prayer Before Exam

a four leaf clover

Four Leaf Clover: For Faith, Hope, Love and Luck

Dear Jesus, today I will have my examinations.

You know how important they are to me.

So I am humbly asking Your gracious help and divine assistance.

I pray to You, my dear Jesus, please never let me panic nor get nervous,

just let me be at ease and give my very best.

Please never let me guess nor rely on pure luck, but enlighten my mind and let me think clearly.

Please never let me resort neither to chances nor to dishonesty, but let me work to the fullest of my ability.

I pray for Your guidance that as I think. I may find the right solutions, I may be able to correctly answer the questions. I may solve those difficult problems.

I ask O Lord, Your intercession that as I write, I may not be distracted but be more concentrated. I may not be in a hurry nor take the exams too lightly.

Today, O my Jesus, I will take my examinations. Let me with Your help, give my best effort. Let me, because of You, receive the best and fruitful results.

Amen.
